Justin Faulkner, 16, is a sophomore at the Girard Academic Music Program and has become known as quite the virtuoso of his instrument. Playing since the age of three, Justin constantly performs in the area with some of the world’s best artists. Being an all around percussionist, Justin has added vibraphone, marimba, timpani, and more to his arsenal which allowed him to tour Brazil with the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra this summer. Justin has performed with several amazing artists from around the world such as Bootise Barnes, Aaron Graves, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Orrin Evans, Eric Revis, Tim Warfield, Bobby McFerrin, James Moody and several other artists. Future plan for Justin include going to Julliard as a Jazz and Classical performance major.
